Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payment bu using the secure Paypal system. If you are shopping from outside the EEC, place your order and Paypal will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We can supply bank details if you wish to pay by euros, or if you would prefer to pay by cheque in euros or GBP, please use the option to ask for and invoice when you get to the checkout. Your goods will be laid aside for you until your cheque arrives.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

Only In-stock items are shown on the website (uness otherwise stated).
We ship your order a soon as you payment has arrived. Orders are despatched every working day and normally goods are despatched within 24 hours of your payment arriving.
An email is sent to you CONFIRMING your order and also when the order is DISPATCHED

Delivery Schedule

We normally despatch your order within 24 hours of receiving your payment. Orders within France should arrive within 3-5 working days; to other EEC countires 5-7 working days and elsewhere 7-10 working days.
NOTE: For your safety international packages are sometimes checked by Customs and Security Staff on departure from France and arrival in your country. This can add a day or so to delivery.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

Alba Yarns does not currently add VAT to orders either in France or on international orders.

Credit Card Security

By using Paypal for payment processing, this website does not capture credit or debit card numbers.

Patterns are non-returnable due to breaches of copyright. Yarn must be returned in un-used condition, with ball bands intact and returned at buyer's cost.

All goods are paid for in full before dispatch.
